marathon ACL or VCL Board Initialization Failed with Error Code -3000#
Issue#
When working with Basler's marathon ACL or VCL boards and the Framegrabber SDK / Runtime, you may run into the following error:
Failed initializing Framegrabber error code -3000
The board is recognized by the Device Manager, but configuring the board with the Runtime or microDiagnostics will cause the above error.
Reason#
The firmware of the frame grabber does not match the installed Framegrabber SDK Version.
Solution#
Flash the board with an applet delivered with the installed Runtime.
To do so, open microDiagnostics and navigate to the "Flash Applet" section as indicated in the image below.
Choose an applet from your Runtime directory.
