Running pylon on Apple Silicon#

The newest version of pylon for macOS runs on Apple Silicon, i.e., ARM-based Macs.

However, pylon GUI tools like the pylon Viewer or the pylon IP Configurator are not available yet.

To use pylon GUI tools on Macs with Apple Silicon:

1. Download and install pylon 6.2: https://www2.baslerweb.com/en/downloads/software-downloads/#type=pylonsoftware;version=6.2.0;os=macos
2. Install Rosetta 2: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211861
