For steady light operation without additional heat dissipation measures, a maximum of 30 °C (86 °F) is recommended. For a maximum of 45 °C (113 °F), heat dissipation measures are mandatory.
For flash light operation with a maximum 10 % duty cycle, a maximum of 45 °C (113 °F) is also permissible.
