Changes and Fixed Issues in Framegrabber SDK 5.11.8#

This section provides information about changes and fixed issues for the Basler Framegrabber SDK version 5.11.8.

Updates of Components#

  • The Windows mE6 driver 2.6.0.0 now supports the new imaFlex 2 Dual 100 frame grabber. (Ticket ID: 353829)
  • The Linux driver 5.6.0 now supports the new imaFlex 2 Dual 100 frame grabber. (Ticket ID: 362275)
  • The Windows mE5 driver 2.5.5.0 has the following changes:
    • Before fixing this issue, the driver queued up to 16 buffers to the frame grabber's FIFO. However, the expected maximum is either 1, or the value of the IrqPrefetchBuffers registry key, if it's set and valid. This led to exceeding buffer limit. This has been fixed. Now the limit is applied correctly. (Ticket ID: 350019)
    • The reporting of NUMA processor affinity has been changed: The reporting of NUMA processor affinity now uses the node group instead of the interrupt affinity. (Ticket ID: 322324)
  • The Framegrabber SDK installer now includes the pylon Firmware Updater; you can select it as an optional component during installation. (Ticket ID: 352248)

CXP Discovery#

  • In microDisplay X, the imaFlex 2 Dual 100 uses the connection speed of 25 Gbit/s per single lane (4*25 Gbit/s). The camera only supports this speed, and therefore microDisplay X now only offers this option for CXP-fiber frame grabbers. (Ticket ID: 352241)
