Circuit Diagrams (ace)#

This topic provides sample circuit diagrams for connecting your Basler ace GigE or ace USB 3.0 camera to external circuitry.

Opto-Coupled Input Line#

The following diagram shows a typical circuit using the opto-coupled input line. As an example, a TTL or CMOS logic gate is used in the external circuit.

Opto-Coupled Output Line#

The following diagram shows a typical circuit using the opto-coupled output line.

The following diagram shows a typical circuit you can use to monitor the opto-coupled output line with an LED. In this example, the voltage in the external circuit is 24 VDC. Current in the circuit is limited by an external resistor.

GPIO Input Line#

The following diagram shows a typical circuit when a GPIO line, if present on your camera model, is set to operate as an input. As an example, a TTL or CMOS logic gate is used in the external circuit.
