Heat Sinks and Compressed Air Cooler (ace 2, racer 2 S)#

The heat sinks and the compressed air cooler for Basler ace 2 and Basler racer 2 S cameras provide an efficient way for heat dissipation during camera operation.

Installing a cooling device is only necessary if your application causes the camera to exceed its maximum operating temperature specified in the "Environmental Requirements" section of your camera model topic. You can find your camera topic in the Area and Line Scan Cameras section.

The compressed-air cooler is supplied ready for operation with compressed air. If you want to use water as the cooling medium, replace the sealing ring installed in the push‑in fitting with Festo sealing ring OL‑1/8 prior to operation.
