Trigger Mode (Stereo mini)#

The Trigger Mode feature makes a Stereo mini camera capture one set of image data each time it receives a trigger signal.

The camera then waits for the next trigger. It ignores a trigger that arrives before the minimum interval for the current acquisition frame rate.

To capture continuously at a fixed frame rate, set the acquisition frame rate and leave trigger mode disabled.

Setting the Trigger Mode#

Set the same acquisition frame rate for the IR, depth, and color streams. The frame rate determines the minimum interval between triggers.

Info

The available frame rates depend on the camera model. For the resolutions and frame rates supported by each model, see Image Data Stream.

Trigger Sources#

Camera Software Trigger Hardware Trigger
USB Models Command from the host 8-pin sync interface
STM-951g Command over the network M8 A-coded sync interface
STM-955g Command over the network M12 A-coded sync interface

Minimum Trigger Interval#

The trigger frequency can be any value up to the maximum for the selected acquisition frame rate.
