White Balance#

The White Balance feature controls the balance of the color channels in images from the color sensor.

Automatic White Balance#

To configure automatic white balance:

1. Set the SourceSelector parameter to Source3 (Color).
2. Set the BalanceWhiteAuto parameter to one of the following values:
   • Off: Automatic white balancing is disabled. Set the white balance manually using the BalanceRatio parameter.
   • Continuous: The camera continuously adjusts the white balance while images are being acquired.

Manual White Balance#

To configure white balance manually:

1. Set the SourceSelector parameter to Source3 (Color).
2. Set the BalanceWhiteAuto parameter to Off.
3. Set the BalanceRatio parameter to the desired value.

The available range depends on the camera model and firmware version.
