Exposure Time (blaze)#

The Exposure Time feature available on blaze cameras specifies how long the image sensor is exposed to light during image acquisition.

  • Reducing the exposure time may reduce measurement accuracy and is only recommended when the image is overexposed.

Setting the Exposure Time#

To set the exposure time:

  1. Set the ExposureTime parameter to the desired exposure time in microseconds.

Depending on your camera revision, the value range of the ExposureTime parameter differs. The maximum exposure time is always 1000 µs. The minimum exposure times applicable are listed by revision below:

  • Up to revision 07: 250 µs
  • Revision 08 to 12: 100 µs
  • From revision 13: 50 µs
